Julie Wild

Julie Wild, MPH

Impact Intern

Julie is a dedicated public health professional with a demonstrated passion for equity of health care and access. She has a Bachelor of Science in Health Wellness Promotion from the University of Asheville, North Carolina. During her undergraduate program, she worked with Buncombe County Schools on a Physical Education Program grant, bolstering the county’s ability to expand its physical education program. She recently completed her master’s degree from the George Washington University Milken Institute of Public Health. She was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success in December of 2021. She completed her graduate thesis on epigenetics and the implications of chronic disease on disenfranchised individuals.

She has worked on the Coronavirus pandemic since December of 2020. Starting as a case investigator, she is now a data manager/analyst for Community Care of North Carolina which is part of the Carolina Community Tracing Collaborative. As a native and resident of Asheville, she is committed to applying her skills as a public health professional to benefit Western North Carolina residents through community outreach, research and data analysis. She is thrilled to be a part of Dogwood Health Trust’s Health and Wellness Intern Team.
