Community Investments

Community Investments at Dogwood Health Trust are about a lot more than traditional check-writing. In fact, money alone will never solve some of our region’s long standing challenges. We believe that the innovative ideas for dramatically improving health and wellness in our region are best cultivated in partnership with the people who live and work here in our communities. The people who experience challenges in our region often are the best equipped to envision solutions, and we want to supply the resources, connections and support to help them turn those visions into bold advances in health and wellbeing. So, while you’ll see traditional grant opportunities from us, you’ll also see new ways to help attract more funding and resources to our region and to boldly work together.

For example, our Leverage Fund is designed to support any WNC nonprofit or collaborative in the pursuit of federal, state or national foundation funding. We also make impact investments to give organizations greater access to capital – particularly in our Housing and Economic Opportunity  Strategic Priority areas. 

Together, we can attract tens of millions to the region.
