Dominica is a skilled executive administrative professional with over 15 years of successful experience partnering with nonprofit executives. She particularly enjoys using her project, financial, people, and organization management skills to execute strategic goals and advance the organizational mission. Before joining Dogwood, Dominica worked at LifeNet Health in Virginia Beach, VA. She supported multiple executives throughout her tenure, ending with support of the Chief Technology Officer and his research and development team that focused on developing life-saving and enhancing biotechnologies. Before LifeNet Health, she served as the Director of Administration and Executive Assistant to the CEO of a nonprofit organization charged with breaking the cycle of poverty and providing access to adequate and affordable housing in Fairfax, VA.

Dominica holds a Master’s degree in Government with a focus in public and nonprofit management as well as a Master’s of Business Administration. She is passionate about community service and utilizes her position as a senior leader in her faith community to empower individuals and the local community. Beyond work, Dominica loves spending time with her partner, Kent, enjoying Black Mountain, reading, and being with family.
