Many Dogwood grantees are looking for advice and support for securing additional funding beyond their Dogwood grant(s). In 2025, Dogwood created a Grants Help Desk to offer grant writing advice free of charge to eligible nonprofits and municipalities in Western North Carolina.
The Grants Help Desk provides technical support to eligible organizations that have questions about a funding opportunity to which they are considering applying, or questions that may arise during the grant development process. The goal is to help make grant applications more competitive and to improve the chances of securing funding outside of Dogwood.
This support is provided by Innovative Funding Partners (IFP). With an overall 85% success rate of securing funding, IFP’s highly qualified team has extensive experience assisting organizations with all stages of the grant life cycle.
This service may not be used for assistance with grant applications for Dogwood Health Trust. If you have questions about Dogwood Health Trust grants, please email [email protected].

To request assistance, simply submit the Intake & Eligibility form below. You will be contacted within two business days.
There are a limited number of Grants Help Desk appointments available each month. When a Grants Help Desk request is received, an internal review is conducted to determine its eligibility and appointment availability. Not all organizations that request Grants Help Desk assistance are approved.
Consultations are offered to eligible organizations on a first-come-first-served basis. To ensure fair access to this resource, we limit organizations to one consultation per month and reserve the right to cancel bookings that appear to violate eligibility requirements. The Grants Help Desk is open and available in 2025 until Aug. 31.
