Kenett Melgar

Kenett Melgar brings more than two decades of experience, advancing health equity, and community well-being across Western North Carolina. His career has been focused on building and scaling programs to serve Vulnerable Populations; including migrant farmworkers, people experiencing homelessness, and rural communities facing barriers to care.

Having an interest in public health he has overseen multi-county initiatives, mobile health services, community health worker programs, language access services and federally funded projects. As a leverage officer, he hopes to leverage his understanding of community needs, relationship building, and systems change to foster partnerships, align resources, and support strategies that strengthen communities and expand opportunities for lasting impact.
