Stephanie Jones-Byrne

Stephanie Jones-Byrne has felt at home in Western North Carolina since she and her husband relocated from Florida in 2004. Her work as a non-profit professional began at an AIDS service organization in Florida where she served as Assistant Executive Director. It continued at CarePartners Foundation in Asheville, where she worked for more than 10 years as a Philanthropy Specialist, providing administrative support and donor stewardship. This work deepened her connection to Western North Carolina and its people, as has volunteering for Building Bridges of Asheville and serving on its board. She is excited to join Dogwood Health Trust in its work to help all Western North Carolinians thrive.

Stephanie earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Concentration in Ethics and Social Institutions. She is currently enrolled in the Interpreter Education Program at Blue Ridge Community College in pursuit of certification as an American Sign Language interpreter.
