Jeremiah Robinson
An Asheville native, Jeremiah Robinson brings a deep connection to Western North Carolina and a passion for creating opportunities that empower underrepresented communities. He leverages over a decade of experience in program management, community engagement, entrepreneurship, education and strategic partnerships to drive sustainable economic growth and equity throughout the region.
Jeremiah’s background as a tech entrepreneur and educator has shaped his approach to building inclusive ecosystems. He founded several ventures and has served as an instructor at A.B. Tech Community College, where he developed technology-focused curricula to equip students with skills aligned with industry needs. These experiences have fueled his commitment to innovation, mentorship and supporting others in achieving economic mobility.
Jeremiah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, specializing in operations and information systems, from NC State University. He is also a certified commercial lender.
Before joining Dogwood, Jeremiah led transformative efforts as the Director of Catalyst Programs at CDFI, Mountain BizWorks. Under his leadership, the program secured and deployed nearly $4 million in grants, loans and technical assistance funding, providing early-stage entrepreneurs with access to patient capital, tailored training and peer-advisory networks. This work fostered small business growth, strengthened local economies and improved economic mobility for underserved populations across Western North Carolina.
Serving as the Leverage Officer at Dogwood Health Trust, Jeremiah is dedicated to building equitable opportunities for local communities, leveraging his entrepreneurial spirit and educational expertise to create lasting impact.
