Dogwood Webinar Series

Next Session:

May 15th, 2024 at noon

Please join us on Wednesday, May 15, from noon until 1 p.m. for Dogwood Health Trust and Innovative Funding Partners’ monthly live webinar series aimed at demystifying the processes of effectively applying for and managing state, federal and private foundation grants.

Part of a monthly series coordinated by Innovative Funding Partners (IFP) for Dogwood Health Trust, this session, “Government Grant Development for Economic Opportunity,” explores the grant funding landscape for DHT’s strategic priority of Economic Opportunity. As government funding opportunities now equally prioritize the need for economic opportunities to help individuals and families overcome poverty and address social determinants of health, DHT’s work in this area is well-aligned to that of government agencies. This session aims to help attendees craft successful and impactful economic opportunity proposals.

Goal: Attendees will gain familiarity with the major players in government grants for economic opportunities and learn about frequently released opportunities. IFP will describe its observations of agencies’ key and emerging priorities in recent years, focusing on those that can “make or break” a proposal. Finally, best practices in project design and proposal development, honed over decades of experience writing economic opportunities grants, will be explored.
