Elizabeth Becker, MBA, CCEP, joined Dogwood Health Trust in March 2019 as a formational employee standing up office management functions and providing the initial support of the board and committees. In December 2020 she was promoted to the role of Compliance Officer. She brings over 18 years of nonprofit experience to Dogwood, having worked for AdvantageWest, UNC Asheville and Mission Health System (prior to the sale). Her commitment to community and the values of nonprofit work were reinforced in her grassroots experience serving for over two years in the Peace Corps in the Republic of Niger.

Elizabeth is responsible for the compliance and ethics program at Dogwood leading the internal audit, policies & procedures, and liability insurance programs.

Elizabeth is a proud western North Carolina native who received a B.A. from the College of Charleston and an M.B.A with a project management concentration from Fayetteville State University. She is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) credentialed through the Compliance Certification Board.
