In the first half of 2024, Dogwood offers two kinds of grant opportunities.

• Strategic Priority Grants align with one or more of the focus areas in Dogwood’s four strategic priorities. The application for Strategic Priority Grants opened on November 13, 2023, and grant award notifications will be made mid-July 2024.
• Grants for Community Equity, Leverage Fund and Policy & Advocacy are available on a rolling basis throughout the year. 

You may pursue either of the above options through our simplified, two-step grant process. We encourage you to start the process early, so that we can spend more time in conversation with you.

Step 1: Submit an Engage with Us form. (November 13 – January 26 for Strategic Priority Grants – now closed. Rolling deadline for all others.) Applicants can share initial information about their organization, their work and what they are seeking funding for. Organizations submitting requests that appear to align with one or more of our funding focus areas will be contacted by a Community Investment team member.

Step 2: Submit a full application via invitation. (Mid-February – mid-March for Strategic Priority Grants. Rolling deadline for all others.) If our team finds that your request aligns closely with one or more of our 2024 grantmaking focus areas, your Community Investment team liaison will provide you with a link to a full application.
