Ashlyn is a senior departmental honors student at Appalachian State University majoring in public health and minoring in medical humanities. Her interest areas are public policy, rural health, health disparities, environmental health and justice and substance use prevention. After graduating, she plans to attend graduate school to earn a Master of Public Health degree. In her free time, she enjoys playing music and participating in music ensembles on campus, reading, crocheting, and getting together with her friends.
