Eric Holt joined Dogwood Health Trust in April of 2020 as an Executive Assistant to the Impact Team. He has been living in Western North Carolina since 2015. Prior to that, he spent 15 years living in Mexico, where he owned and operated several businesses. Eric chose to return to WNC to be closer to his mother, who was born and raised in Macon County. He began working for Mission Health System in 2016 and was an Executive Assistant to one of the Senior Vice Presidents. Most recently, he was the Executive Assistant to the President / CEO of Appalachian Mountain Community Health Centers, as well as working in Administrative Management and Outreach / Grant Management. He is a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist and is passionate about the recovery community in WNC. He currently serves on the board of Western North Carolina AIDS Project. Eric and his husband Brian, live in Canton and enjoy working in their yard and exploring the beautiful mountains of WNC.
