Eric Holt joined Dogwood Health Trust in April 2020. He has been living in Western North Carolina since 2015. Prior to that, he spent 15 years living in Mexico, where he owned and operated several businesses. Eric chose to return to WNC to be closer to his mother, who was born and raised in Macon County. Before joining Dogwood, he was part of Appalachian Mountain Community Health Centers and worked in Administrative Management and Outreach / Grant Management. In his years working in non-profit healthcare, he has seen the need for and importance of our safety net organizations. It is why he is so driven by Dogwood’s commitment to dramatically improve the health and wellbeing of all people and communities of WNC. Eric and his husband Brian live in Asheville and enjoy working in their yard and exploring the beautiful mountains of WNC.
